The folks over at Northtemple have just put up a great post about the need for designers to start thinking about mobile browsers and usability in websites. While in the past I did not think about users who access the web through mobile devices all that much, I am definitely beginning to experience more of their frustrations first hand after recently making the switch to a new T-Mobile G1.
In this new world where mobile devices can see our regular sites, we need to be even more diligent in going back to basics of making sure links are easily viewable.

The article does bring up some really good points in that, many designers, are often putting more focus on the aesthetic of the design than on the usability of the over all site. It is interesting to see people raise a bit more awareness about usability for mobile users, as well as disabled users. Any one else feel this struggle between design and usability?
